introduced in the 1974 Orono Comprehensive Guide Plan, and later solidified within the <br />1980 Orono CMP. Major policy direction remains relatively unchanged but the content has <br />been revised and updated to reflect the changes the City and the Metropolitan Area has <br />undergone since 2010. The Plan outlines the Community's Philosophy, Planning Goals and <br />Planning Policies. <br />Link to Plan <br />3. Summary: <br />At the May 27 Work Session, during part one of the Goals and Priorities discussion, staff provided <br />a brief on the current mission, vision, and goals as well as a high level overview of the upcoming <br />Comp Plan update process. <br />Discussion Points: <br />1.
