AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: June 9, 2025 <br />Title: Fireworks Display - June 13 <br />Presenter: Christine Lusian, City Clerk <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this action item is to review fireworks display plans. <br />Item: 6 <br />2. License Applicant(s): <br />City code section 66-224(d) and (f)(2) requires city council review of special events requesting the <br />use of city land and involving fireworks. <br />In partnership with our neighbors, Spring Park and Orono are reviewing permits from RES Pyro to <br />launch fireworks Friday, June 13 from a floating platform on West Arm Bay's coffee cove for an <br />event at Lord Fletchers. The fireworks will launch for about 10 minutes between the hours of 8:30 <br />and 9:30pm from the water just east of Fagerness Point. Plans included with the application are <br />attached. <br />3. Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff from Administration, Community Development, Fire, Parks, and Police have reviewed and <br />approved the application. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Review the fireworks display plans at coffee cove for June 13. <br />Exhibits <br />A.
