Unfortunately, I may not be <br />able to attend the hearing. Based on discussion with neighbors, it appears that there may be <br />some question about whether a LID, and individual Stubb's Bay residents, becomes legally <br />liable for the actions of the LID. Unless and until it is determined that Stubb's Bay residents <br />will have no legal liability or financial responsibility for such a LID, I oppose the creation of a <br />LID for Stubb's Bay. Further, I would defer to the DNR regarding treatments in Stubb's Bay <br />and the broader bodies of Lake Minnetonka regarding the management of weeds including any <br />responsibility for the addition of certain herbicides or chemicals to address the weeds or water <br />quality. <br />Regards, <br />Stan Sandiford <br />722 Tonkawa Road <br />289 <br />
