I have enclosed a plat map
that has been marked to locate the specific areas referenced to
by complaintant.
The City has inspected the area and can confirm numerous piles of
clippings and tree trimmings. We have also observed the
following within Burlington's right-of-way:
1. Sheds located partially or totally within your right-of-
way
2. Fencing
3. Piles of firewood
4. Garages partially within right-of-way
5. Private drives
Please advise the City if you have any records of granting
special easements or temporary ase easements for these various
improvements. Many of these improvements are classified by Orono
Code as accessory structures requiring a principal structure to
permit their legal use.
If these structures are to remain on your property, the City will
require that either the railroad or the appropriate property
owners obtain a conditional use permit to permit the continued
use of these non -conforming structures.
BUILDING & ZONING - 473.7357 • ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE - 473.7358 • PUBLIC WORKS - 473.7359
ASSESSING
