VOTE: Ayes: 6, Nays 0. <br />6.4.LA25-000013, ANDERSON ENGINEERING, 200 WOODHILL ROAD, INTERIM USE <br />PERMIT. <br />The Planning Commission is requested to review the Staff report, receive a presentation,and discuss and <br />approve the permit request for a storm sewer replacement and ancillary golf course improvements at <br />Woodhill Country Club, which is partially located in the City of Orono.Staff recommends approval <br />subject to several conditions. <br />The Planning Commission discussed the item and asked questions of staff and the applicant, Kyle <br />Stebbing,Anderson Engineering, Plymouth,MN. <br />Chair Bollis opened the public hearing at 7:17 p.m. <br />There were no public comments. <br />Chair Bollis closed the public hearing at 7:17 p.m. <br />Commissioners said the application was straightforward and would be an improvement. <br />Prchal moved, Weltzin seconded, to approve LA25-000013, 200 Woodhill Road,Interim Use Permit <br />as applied with the condition that the construction entrance would be off County Rd. 15. VOTE: <br />Ayes: 6, Nays 0. <br />7.NEW BUSINESS <br />7.1 LA25-000014, REVISIONS TO CITY CODE REGARDING THE KEEPING OF ANIMALS IN <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS. <br />The Planning Commission is requested to review the Staff report, receive a presentation,and discuss <br />possible revisions to City Code relating to farm animals and whether the code should list animals that are <br />prohibited or animals that are permitted. <br />The Planning Commission discussed the item and asked questions of staff. <br />Commissioners discussed the types of animals that could be allowed or prohibited and how regulations <br />could be varied based on zoning and lot size. The Planning Commission directed staff to draft proposed <br />language to add pigeons, doves and rabbits to the current code and define the number of those animals in <br />a unit;loosen regulations for cooped or penned animals for smaller lots,and define domesticated animals. <br />8.ADJOURNMENT <br />5
