Grounds For The Order. Thf building located upon the <br />property described above is in an unsafe, uninhabitable, <br />unsanitary and deteriorated condition. Due to deteriorating, and <br />in some areas, nonexistent, foundation and footings, deteriorating <br />roof, poor wiring and numercus building code violations, the <br />City Council of the City of Orono has deemed the structure to be a <br />hazardous building which is public nuisance and unsafe and <br />hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare. Because of <br />its condition, the City has determined that the 4ding must be <br />either repaired, or emptied, razed and removed. <br />2. Necessary Repairs. The following is a list of the <br />existing conditions at the building which must be repaired and <br />remedied: <br />1) Poor and/or non-existent footings and <br />foundation; <br />2) Walls rotting and deteriorating; <br />3) Chimney is not properly supported and is <br />deteriorating; <br />4) Ceilings falling dun to water damage and <br />deterioration; <br />5) Electrical service for entire house in need of <br />inspection by a master electrician to itemize and <br />repair several electrical hazards; and <br />6) All other conditions outlined in City <br />Resolution No. 2351, attached at Exhibit A and <br />incorporated fully herein. <br />M <br />04 <br />
