CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> 1l� 4tiG NO. 7582 <br /> IcESHO <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING <br /> THE FACILITIES SERVICES FUND <br /> WHEREAS, the Central Services department within the General Fund tracks <br /> expenditures that applies to all departments; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has been tracking facility operating expenditure as part of the <br /> Central Services department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the use of internal service funds improves financial management by <br /> allowing more precise tracking of costs related to specific services; and <br /> WHEREAS, internal service funds are useful for budgeting and decision-making; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City already tracks information technology, insurance and fleet related <br /> expenditures as internal services fund; and <br /> WHEREAS, the creation of a Facilities Services Fund will allow precise tracking of <br /> costs related to facility services, supplies, maintenance and repairs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the fund will charge other departments for services provided; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Facilities Services Fund be <br /> establish. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on May 12, 2025. <br /> ATTEST: CITY OF ORONO <br /> Chri e Lusia , ity Clerk Bob Tunheim, Mayor <br />
