Date: May 12, 2025 Item: 15 <br />Presenter: Laura Oakden, Community Development Director <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Title: LA24-000068, 430 Old Crystal Bay Road, Final Plat, Orono Garage <br />Condominium CIC Plat, Resolution 7586 <br /> <br /> <br />1.Purpose: <br />The applicant is requesting approval for a final CIC plat for Orono Garage Condo development. <br />2.MN§15.99 Application Deadline: <br />The applicant submitted the application in December 2024. The applicant was deemed <br />substantially complete on May 5th, 2025 resulting in a 120-day review period to end September <br />4th, 2025. <br />3.Background: <br />In April 14th and April 28th The City Council reviewed the proposed application and granted <br />preliminary plat, Conditional Use permit and Site Plan approval to move forward with the garage <br />condo development. The applicant prepared a final plat drawing and provided the necessary <br />required documents to draft a development agreement and easements for the site. A final executed <br />and recorded development agreement, and easements will be required before any work can begin <br />on the site, as well as all development fees will need to be paid. A final plat has been reviewed for <br />the CIC development. Following the recorded procedures for CIC, a final plat will be recorded <br />with the Council once the buildings are substantially approved. <br /> <br />At this time, the applicant requests Final Plat approval Buildings 1 and 2 for the site. Once the <br />buildings are constructed and the plat can be recorded and the building can proceed with obtaining <br />final inspections and Certificate of Occupancy.
