T <br />.■.i.c:'-* •• y- V'.* ' <br />In regard to the street and sideyard setback <br />variance for Bari Norwood, 1360 Vine Place, <br />Henry Muhich, Building 6 Zoning Administrator, <br />stated in June, 1975, Mr. Norwood applied for <br />a permit to move his existing garage to provide <br />M a new garage. On review, we <br />fomd the parcel on whi^ he was proposing to <br />build was a lot without a main structure and <br />separa^r from the lot on which his home was <br />adjoining parcels(4450, 4825, 4778 and 4755'. 1 explained to <br />h^ that our code did not vermit the construction <br />of M accessory building without a main structure. <br />I also explained the current substandard <br />status of the four adjoining parcels and <br />suggested he combine them to provide the <br />necessary main structure. <br />VARIANCE <br />1360 Vine Place <br />i): <br />1 reviewed the matter with the Hennepin County <br />Tax Department and learned these parcels could <br />not be combined unless the tax status on all <br />parcels were equal. Currently, one parcel is <br />tax delinquent from 1974 and three parcels <br />are delinquent since 1971. i Informed fir. <br />Norwood of this i*equirement. <br />The proposed location of the garage would <br />require two variances regardless of the <br />combination, however, the location as proposed <br />is 5* from the aide lot line and 5* from the <br />street lot line. Two variances of 5* and 30* <br />respectively would be necessary. <br />Hr. Norwood has not combined the lots as yet <br />but has agreed to pay up the delinquent taxes <br />and cc*.dt>ine the properties providing these <br />variances are approved.
