Date: April 28, 2025 Item: 4 <br />Presenter: Adam Edwards, City Administrator / Engineer <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Title: Annual Performance Review of the City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />1.Purpose: <br />The purpose of this item is to summarize the closed session held on April 14 to review City <br />Administrator Adam Edwards’ performance in 2024. <br />2.Background: <br />Pursuant to the State’s Open Meeting Law, Minn. Stat. Section 13D.05, Subd. 3(a), the City <br />Council conducted a closed meeting as part of its February 24, 2025 regular council meeting to <br />evaluate the performance of City Administrator/ City Engineer Adam Edwards in 2024. <br />3.Summary: <br />The Mayor, all Council Members, as well as Administrator Adam Edwards and City Attorney <br />Soren Mattick attended the closed session. At the meeting, the council began a review. Due to the <br />extreme lateness of the hour a follow up session is recommended for one of the May meetings. <br />4.Staff Recommendation: <br />I recommend we reconvene at one of the May council meetings to complete this activity. <br />AGENDA ITEM <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to approve this summary. <br />27
