Brown, 355 Stubbs Bay Road North <br />Variance - Resolution <br />Zoning District - <br />RR-IA, Single Family, Unsewered, 5-Acre Minimum <br />Application - <br />Request for variance to allow accessory building to be <br />located nearer the front lot line than the principal building. <br />List of Exhibits - <br />Exhibit A - Notice of Planning Commission Action 6/21/89 <br />Exhibit B - Proposed Resolution <br />Exhibit C - Memo and Exhibits of June 12, 1989 <br />Discussion - <br />Please review the memo and exhibits of June 12, 1989. <br />Applicant owns a property of 10 acres in area, and proposes to <br />construct a garage nearer the front lot line than the house, <br />technically requiring a variance to Zoning Code Section 10.03, <br />subd. 9(d). The proposed garage will be more than 40' from the <br />house, and more than 195' from all lot lines. The proposed <br />garage will be adequately screened by existing vegetation so that <br />it will not be visible from neighboring properties. <br />The Planning Commission, at their meeting of June 19, 1989, <br />recommended approval, finding that the proposed garage will not <br />be visible from neighboring properties and has no visual impact <br />on the surrounding neighborhood. <br />Staff Recomsendation - <br />Staff recommends approval per the Planning Commission <br />recommendation, per the attached resolution.
