62089.: <br />ORDINANCE NUMBER , SECOND SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTTONF 4.31 LIQUOR LICENSE RESTRICTIONS <br />AND REGULATIONS - OFF-SALE .i:,yOR AND WINE, SUBD. 18; 4.32 HOURS <br />AND DAYS OF LIQUOR SALES, 0; AND 4.33 SUNDAY SALES, OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 32, SECOND SERX APOt’TED MARCH 17, 1987, AND <br />ENTITLED "INTOXICATING AND NON- ATOXIC ATI NG LIQUOR LICENSING AND <br />REGULATION." <br />The City Council of Orono ordains; <br />Ordinance No. 32, Second Series jdopted March 17, 1987, <br />and entitled "Intoxicating and Ncn-Intoxicating Liquor Licensing <br />and Regulation" is amended to read; <br />Section 4.31, Liquor License <br />Regulations - Off-Sale Liquor and Wine.Restrictions and <br />Subd. 18. An off-sale licensee may provide samples <br />of wine, liqueurs, and cordials which the licensee currently has <br />in stock and is offered to the general public without obtaining <br />an additional 1 icense prov iding that the wine, liqueur, and <br />cordial samples are dispensed at no charge and consumed on a <br />licensed premise during the permitted hours of off-sale in a <br />quantity less than 100 milliliters of malt liquor per variety per. <br />customer, 50 milliliters of wine per variety per customer, and 25 <br />milliliters of liqueur or cordial per variety per customer. <br />Section 4.32. Hours and Days of Liquor Sales. <br />Subd. 2. Off-sale. No off-sale of liquor shall be <br />made before 8:00 o’clock A.M. or after 8;00 o'clock P.M. of any <br />except Friday and Saturday on which days may be made until <br />10:00 o'clock P.M, No off-sale shall be made on Thanksgiving <br />Day; or Christams Day, December 25; but on the evenings preceding <br />such days, if the sale of liquor is not otherwise prohibited on <br />such evenings, off-sales may be made until 10:00 o'clock P.M. <br />Section 4.33, Sunday Sales. Notwithstanding anything <br />herein to the contrary, a Sunday on-sale license may be issued to <br />hotels, motels and restaurants, as herein defined, which have on- <br />sale liquor licenses, to serve liquor between the hours of 10:00 <br />o’clock A.M. Sunday and 1;00 o’clock A.M. Mondays in conjunction <br />with the serving of food, provided that the licensee <br />establishment is in conformance with the Minnesota Clean Indoor <br />Air Act.
