The <br />application is for the construction of a retaining wall and placement of <br />fill. A portion of the construction is proposed in the 0-25 foot lakeshore <br />area. <br />We would recommend that the retaining wall be extended to a point 80' from the <br />lake shore at full height and then tapered to the ground in the next 10 feet. <br />The filling should be allowed to match the wall with some grading in the 0-75 <br />foot area to improve the yard area. <br />The property owner should be required to place silt fence and sod the area <br />immediately after the grading is completed. <br />The filling will reduce the rate of runoff slightly with no change in the <br />water quality running to the lake. <br />If you have any questions, please contact this office. <br />Yours very truly. <br />BONESTROO.
