<br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AXLE WEIGHT
<br />LIMITS ON CITY STREETS
<br />The City of Orono ordains that axle weight limits are restricted on the following
<br />streets in the City of Orono from March 15, 1975, through May 15, 1975: Refuse
<br />collection vehicles shall be operated in accordance with regulations as provided
<br />in Ordinance #114, 66.080, which states: (1) no refuse collection vehicle shall
<br />be operated during the seasonal restriction time where the gross weight on any
<br />single axle exceeds 14,000 pounds; and (2) no vehicle shall be operated upon any
<br />City road at any time where special posting specifically prohibits refuse collection
<br />vehicles.
<br />The following streets are limited to five ton axle limits: Arbor Street, Baldur
<br />Park, Barrett Avenue, Birch Lane, Bederwood Drive, Blaine Avenue, Bayview Place,
<br />Bohn's Point Road, Bohn's Point Lane, Border Avenue, Brackett's Point Road, Briar
<br />Street, North Brown Road, Carman Road, Carman Street, Caroline Avenue, Casco
<br />Avenue, Casco Circle, Casco Point Rd., Central Ave., Cherry Ave., Cherry Place,
<br />Chevy Chase Road, Chippewa Lane, Concordia St., Corral Rd., Country Club Rd.,
<br />Crestview Ave., Crystal Ave., Crystal Bay Rd., Crystal Place, Cygnet Place,
<br />Dahl Rd., Dakota Ave., Dickenson St., Dickenson Street Alleys, Dunwoody Ave.,
<br />East Lake Street, East Long Lake Road, Elm St., Elmwood Ave., Elm Lane, Ethel
<br />Ave., Fairview Cottage, Fagerness Point Rd., Ferndale Green, West Ferndale Rd.,

<br />The following bridges are limited to 15 ton gross: Willow Drive, Old Crystal Bay
<br />Road.
<br />The Old Crystal Bay Road; 9 ton axle limit.
