• CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION NO. S71 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT <br />AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 75-1 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted <br />January 13, 1975, a report has been prepared by Skip McCombs, <br />City Engineer, with reference to the improvement of the drainage <br />in the ravine located near County Road No. 19, approximately 700 <br />feet east of the City's boundary lines by installing a 185 foot <br />pipe, a catch basin, and energy dissipater, and by filling the <br />eroded areas and thereafter sodding same, and this report was <br />received by the Council on January 28, 1975, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that: <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of such <br />drainage in accordance with the report and the assessment of all <br />properties both abutting and non -abutting benefited by the drainage <br />improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to <br />429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost <br />of. the improvement of $11,700.00. <br />2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improve- <br />ment on the 25th day of February, 1975, in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Hall at 7:30 p.m., and the clerk shall give mailed and pub- <br />lished notice of such hearing and improvements as required by laws. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this 28th <br />day of January, 1975 by a vote of -4- ayes and 0 nays. <br />Atte t: <br />a ter R.
