Mr. McCabe's Fesume <br />ISSUE - Determin .tion as to whether the City wants to appoint <br />another representative to the West Hennepin Board or not. <br />INTRODUCTION - The City during appointment review time had <br />attempted to contact its alternate, Marc McCabe, to determine if <br />he desired to be appointed to a full time position. We did not <br />receive a response at that point and because the vacancy does <br />exist on the Board for the second Orono representative slot we <br />have recontacted him by lette):. <br />DISCUSSION - On May 12, 1989 Mr. McCabe indicated he is <br />Tnterested^n being one of the two primary representatives to the <br />Board. The other representative is LaDean McWilliams. <br />As you may be aware Lt. Gary Cheswick is also on ti»«. Board being <br />appointed by the West Hennepin Board as a Police Department <br />representative, but not one specifically one representing Orono. <br />The appointmei.t of Mr. McCabe would not affect this. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Appoint Mr. McCabe. <br />2. Seek other interested parties. <br />3. Choose to take no action. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that Mr. McCabe be appointed <br />as Orono's second representative to the West Hennepin Human <br />Services in addition to its other primary representative LaDean <br />McWilliams. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by _, that the City <br />appoint Mr. Marc McCabe as one of its two primary representatives <br />to the West Hennepin Human Services Board.
