Did you or house- <br />hold members golf on the Orono Golf Course, the muni- <br />cipally -owned nine -hole golf course during the past <br />twelve months? <br />Forty-five percent of Orono households golf: <br />0 <br />YES/YES......................................... 31% <br />YES/NO.......................................... 14% <br />DON'T KNOW/REFUSED ............................ 0% <br />Among golfers, 69% have played the Orono Golf Course during the past twelve months. <br />"No" is posted more often by: <br />• residents for twenty years or more <br />• those connected to city water <br />• those not too or not at all informed about city government and its activities <br />• owners of homes valued under $600,000 <br />• eighteen to forty-four year olds <br />"Yes/yes" is stated most frequently by: <br />those rating the quality of life as excellent <br />those with a private well <br />those somewhat informed about city government and its activities <br />"Yes/no" is mentioned more often by: <br />• owners of residences on more than two acres <br />• owners of homes valued over $1 million <br />• those with septic tanks <br />• forty-five to fifty-four year olds <br />Orono Golf Course users were asked two follow-up questions.
