I will need your responses no later than Tuesday, April <br />11th. I have the following preliminary comments on these <br />applications for your review; <br />1. Application #1367-Steven Harris, 3850 Watertown Road. <br />Applicant has finally submitted a survey locating pond and <br />elevations. Neighbor to west claims impact by pond. Your <br />comments should be directed to overall effect of pond o*' <br />properties and subject properties. If you need additional <br />information, please let me know. <br />2. Application #1293-Washington Scientific Industry, 2605 <br />Wayzata Boulevard. Use the Delta Environmental Consultant s <br />report dated March 1, 1989, sent to you under separate cover, as <br />it relates to the thin spreading of approximately 800 cubic yards <br />of contaminated soil within the designated area. If you are <br />unable to locate the subject report, I will send you the <br />additional information. <br />3. Application #1396-Minnetonka Boat Works, 1449 Shoreline <br />Drive. Mr. Jacobs proposes an increase in boat slips of 48, 6 on <br />Brown's Bay and 42 on the Tanager Lake side. Two alternative <br />parking plans have been proposed. <br />Alternate plan'^one“ involves parking expansion on the east <br />side. Parking area encroaches the 75* setback <br />plans have been enclosed for the retention pond with treatment <br />facility. <br />Alternate plan'’\wo proposes additional parking on the west <br />side involving major alteration of a steep treed bank area, <br />requiring and necessitating the removal of many ^^®®® <br />provide a buffer to Green Trees estate homes from the commercial <br />marinas to the north. <br />BUILDING a ZONING - 47 3-7357 <br />assessing <br />administration a finance - 473-7358 PUBLIC WORKS - 473-7359
