f f ¥ <br />DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />Building Permit was issued by the City of Orono for present <br />structure. After construction was completed and upon sale <br />of home it was discovered that the structure is approximately <br />20 feet from the wetlands. A variance in the wetland setback <br />allowing the existing structure is requested. <br />HARDSHIP: <br />The building was put up in good faith and reliance upon City <br />approval as to all prerequisites as evidenced by a building <br />permit being issued. The denial of this variance would create <br />an unmarketable property and would be economically unfeasible <br />to correct.
