Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the <br />Village Council of the Village of Orono, <br />• Hennepin County, Minnesota <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Orono was held at the <br />Village Hall in said Village on Monday, the 24th day of September, <br />1973, at 7:30 o'clock P,M. <br />The Mayor, Village Clerk -Administrator and the following <br />Councilmen were present: Butler, Massengale, Dorn, & Welsh <br />and the following were absent: None <br />• Councilman Massengale introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #512 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT <br />AND CALLING HEARING ON SANITARY <br />SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO, 73=1 <br />WHEREAS, this Council has requested Orr-Shelen-Mayeron and <br />Associates, Inc., consulting engineers, to report with reference to <br />the construction of a trunk and lateral sewer system, Sanitary Sewer <br />Improvement No. 73-1, and said engineers have reported to the Council <br />that the improvement is feasible, that the improvement should be made <br />as proposed and not in connection with some other improvement and that <br />the estimated cost is $5,025,000,00, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of <br />Orono, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1� A public hearing on said proposed improvement shall be <br />held at the Orono Middle School, Old Crystal Bay Road north of S.T,H, <br />#12 on Thursday, October 18, 1973, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at which <br />time the Council shall meet to hear and consider objections to the <br />improvement as proposed, which hearing will be continued to November 1, <br />1973 and November 8, 1973 to give all concerned parties adequate <br />40 opportunity to be heard. <br />20 The Village Clerk shall give two weeks' notice of the <br />time and place of hearing by publication in the official newspaper, <br />the last publication to be at least three days before the hearing, <br />and by mailing as required by law, <br />3.
