The <br />yard had not been mowed but once last year by a neighbor boy whom <br />you begrudged paying - everything from the mailbox that is never <br />emptied of phone books from 2 years ago to the tall weeds in the <br />yard, to the neglected house which is an eye sore to the com­ <br />munity. <br />We have not finished the improvements because this garage issue <br />has been hanging in limbo and our case against the contractor. I <br />know you have severely neglected your house. People have tried <br />to rent or buy it aind you refuse. When we finish our property it <br />will be beautiful. <br />I also know yoi: abuse the truth when you say you don't like to <br />write letters and cause trouble. Your original letter in 1985 <br />objecting to our improvements is on file. What would you know <br />about run down neglect - the whole property you own looks like a <br />city dump. <br />We need this building just to protect our investment from, to use <br />your own words, "first class eye sore" of your property. <br />Myself and several other neighbors will be looking into w’ you <br />are proposing to do with your property. I think I can sp.for <br />my neighbors that we do not want someone like you who is so <br />dishonest and destructive as your total neglect of that property <br />living next door to us. <br />As far as safety - there is 22 feet more than a length of a car <br />between the garage and curb. <br />Again, to use your own words, you are full of "poppycock" and the <br />biggest hazard is that your neglected property next door. <br />Sincerely, <br />Chars Palm
