, • ^5 <br />f\\’ APR I 01989 <br />L\ii_ _ _ _ <br />[i^ <br />April 8, 1909 <br />Orono Village Couneil <br />Orono Village <br />Dear Council Member*, <br />1 am writing thi* letter to document my feeling* regarding <br />the separate garage structure belonging to Dale and Chris Palm <br />of 1710 Shadywood Road. <br />I have been a resident of 1600 Shadywood Road for over <br />twenty years, living two houses north of the P^lrris, The Palm* <br />have undertaken a major rehabilitation project of their property <br />and now have a large home with a fre# *tanding garage next to <br />county road 19. In view of the fact that the council i* <br />considering a request of the Palms to allow the garage to <br />remain, I am providing the council with my feeling on this <br />subject. <br />1 believe that it is actually a benefit to the neighborhood <br />to have the structure in place in that it serve* as a sound^ <br />barrier and privacy buffer for the houses along the lake. Tii# <br />garage was built a number of*, years ago and has very good <br />atructural quality and were the Palm* to finish the exterior of <br />the garage the aesthetics would seem to me to be a plus for the <br />neighborhood. <br />1 have absolutely no objection to this structure remaining <br />in place a* X view it as a benefit. <br />incerely. <br />'JohrTTol eman <br />1660 Shadywood Road
