The City to enforce directives of the <br />Minnesota Department of Health regarding the number of fixtures <br />required within each latrine to serve 30 overnight camp sites. <br />E) Security lighting to be re-inspected by <br />opening. <br />staff prior to <br />F) Site of helipad to be inspected. Applicant to provide an <br />updated written emergency procedure for 1989 season. <br />G) Submit a copy of current liability policy/coverage for both <br />day use recreation and overnight camping. <br />2. The approved plan of operation for the 1989 season for the Big <br />Island Veterans* Camp has been based on an improvement/site plan <br />submitted by the applicant and attached as Page 6 of this resolution. <br />3. Approval of a Joint Use Dock License by the City of Orono and the <br />L.M.C.D. for the 1989 season. <br />4. All changes in signage for the 1989 season must be approved by <br />staff. No signage area can exceed 50 square feet. <br />5. Applicant is hereby advised that if at any time the existing <br />septic facilities are determined to be insufficient or failing upon <br />the regular inspection of the Orono staff, that all or partial <br />overnight camp use shall cease. Overnight camping at the 30 camp site <br />level shall not be reopened for public use until applicant has <br />Installed adequate septic tr^iatment facilities to support sewage <br />demands of the camp. <br />6. Authorities granted by this resolution run with the property not <br />with the owner, but are permissive only and must be completed within <br />one year of the date of Council approval or the special conditions of <br />this resolution will expire on that date (April 10, 1990). <br />7. Violation of or non-compliance with any of the terms and conditions <br />of this resolution shall constitute a violation of the Zoning Code, <br />shall automatically terminate any authority granted herein, and shall <br />be punishable as a misdemeanor. <br />Page 3 of 6
