Minnesot <br />at a regular meeting held the 27th day of March, 1972, by a vote of <br />3 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Louis B. U erhauser, Mayor <br />Attest:' <br />a _. artin, Cler - mi.nistrator <br />RESOLUTION4440 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE OWNERS OF A HAZARDOUS BUILDING <br />WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF ORONO TO CORRECT THE HAZARDOUS CONDITION <br />WHEREAS, Herbert G: Mikkelson is the record owner of certain <br />real property located�at 2130 Kenwood Way, within the Village of Orono, <br />legally described as follows: <br />Lot 1, B1ock•l, Rearrangement of Wallace's Addition; <br />WHEREAS, the building constructed on said real property is in <br />a dilapidated condition, has no water supply, has no sanitary facilities <br />and constitutes a health and fire hazard; <br />i <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes 463.16 the said Herbert G. Mikkelson is ordered to correct the <br />condition above described on the grounds that the condition is hazardous <br />within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes 463.15 through 463.26; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said Herbert G. Mikkelson is <br />ordered to correct the condition.by razing the building and filling in <br />the excavated area, or in the alternative, checking and rebuilding as <br />necessary the foundation, bearing walls and non-bearing walls, replacing <br />structural members which are weak, checking and replacing or repairing <br />the entire heating, electrical and plumbing systems as necessary, -..to <br />bring them within the specifications of the Municipal Cocie of Orono, <br />and all window seals and doors should be repaired as necessary, and the <br />building should then be closed and secured or occupied within 45 days <br />from the date this order is duly served upon him; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a motion for summary en.fofcement of this order <br />be made to the District Court of Hennepin County, State of.Minnesota, <br />unless corrective action is taken by the said Herbert G. Mikkelson or <br />unless his answer is filed within the time specified in Minnesota Statutes <br />463.15 through 463.26. <br />Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota, at a <br />regular meeting held April 24, 1972, by a vote of 3 ayes and.0 nays. <br />Louis B. 0 er auser, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />Ralph H.
