C' . <br />' ■ ■ • '-4* . . <br />*'•/ <br />^in <br />9V V <br />zoning Pilo *935 <br />Wnyinta Countri' Club <br />Pago 2 of 2 <br />2) Projoet conplotod 1985 for which staff roeonnonds aftor- <br />tho-fact approval with no further design informationt pond <br />on Sth fairway - not a deaig. wetland - 25* x 75* x 5* deep <br />- slopes ok - 350 cubic yards excavated. <br />3) Projects completed or underway in 1986 which were <br />approved by Council 1*27-88 and for which a grading peradt <br />has already been issued: <br />a) Rebuild bunkers on hole #8: approximately 1000 <br />cubic yards of fill, all on high ground. <br />b) Extend tee *17: approximately 370 cubic yards of <br />fill, all on high ground. <br />4) Projects to be reviewed under application 11012t <br />a) Pond on hole 16 - this a designatad wetland. <br />Proposal is to remove 30 years accumulation of silt and <br />debris, leaves, muck, etc. - no plans to widan or to <br />change bank slopes - spoil site is of some concern and <br />will need some protection - staff is requiring a series <br />of surveyed cross - sections (2 or 3) to shew exactly <br />what is proposed - Lindblad notes McCombs Knutson will <br />likely do the survey/design work. <br />b) Pond to be created on hole #12 - this is not a <br />designated wetland - pond is proposed to be <br />approximately 100* diameter, 3-5* deep, located <br />adjacent to (but not contiguous with) the pond created <br />in 1981. Prior to that, this entire area was fairway <br />and bunkers (sand trap). Mill remove approximately <br />1200 cubic yards of fill - spoil site not determined - <br />soil probably a Glencoe silty clay loam. This is a <br />border to a collection area, probably will have little <br />impact on quality of water leaving watershed, perhaps <br />will even increase storage... <br />Based on the above recommendations, staff recommends <br />approval of a conditional use permit for items 1 (a-d), 2 and 3 <br />(a-b) per the attached resolution, which requires that the proper <br />building permit (for the shelter) and the proper grading permit <br />(for each subsequent year's projects) be obtained prior to <br />commencement of construction. We anticipate that application <br />11012 for work in the 2 ponds will be presented to the Planning <br />Commission for initial review in Kay or June.
