You referred to Item 4 (B) of the memo of April 10,
1.86. This memo deals with Application #935 and recommends to the
City Council that the pond on Hole #6 and the pond on Hole #12 should
be the subject of conditional use permit application #1012 which at
that time was on hold pending design work by your engineer. These 2
projects were specifically omitted from Resolution #1977 which
resulted from application #935.
Application #1012 had been filed on February 20, 1986, and was
followed up by my memo of March 11, 1986 to the Planning Commission
suggesting that the item be tabled until additional information was
submitted for the ponds on Role #12 and #6. Nothing else occurred in
that application until January 1987 and at that time had been revised
to include just the pond at Hole #6 plus maintenance dredging of
ditches between Holes #10, 11 and 12 and between Roles #15 and 18.
There was m discussion occurring regarding the pond on Hole #12, and
we never received engineering work from you for the pond on Hole #12.
Finally, Resolution #2118 that resulted from application #1012,
makes no mention of the pond on Hole #12. 2 would also note for the
record that our file contains a survey of the proposed pond area on
Hole #12 but does not go into detail as far as a design for that pond.
I can only conclude that none of the prior approvals included the
proposed pond on Role #12, hence a new application should be submitted
along with additional engineering work for the proposed pond. If you
like# I will be happy to meet with you to go over the application
requirements, and my initial reaction is that this will be a
relatively routine review, but the scheduling may be problematic if
you wish to proceed this winter.
/ BUILDING a ZONING - 473-73S7
ASSESSING
ADMINISTRATION 4 FINANCE - 473-73S8 rUBLIC WORKS > 473-7359
