This is not a designated wetland area.
City Engineer Glenn Cook has reviewed the proposal and finds that the
proposed pond will increase the water storage on the golf course property
and would be a benefit to the watershed. The pond is of such a size
(approximately 0.23 acre) that a conservation and flowage easement over the
pond would be consistent with past City practice.
The spoil site is intended to be the spoils site previously used by
the Country Club, south of Wayzata Boulevard in the City of Wayzata.
discussions with the Wayzata staff indicated that they have no problem with
use of his site.
Planning ComBiasion Rer \ i—endation
Planning Commission at their February 21, 1989 meeting recommended by
a vote of 6 to 0 to approve subject to the four conditions noted in the
Notice of Planning Commission Action (Exhibit A).
Staff RacoBBandatioB
Staff recommends approval per the Planning Commission recommendation
and per the attached resolution.
