Evaluation Form <br />B. Potential Areas for Goals Setting <br />ISSUE - Initiation of process to: <br />1. The annual Administrator evaluation. <br />2. Determine further goals for the Administrator for <br />the ensuing year. <br />INTRODPCTION - Annually in advance of the Administrator's <br />anniversary with the City# Council and the Administrator have <br />undertaken a process to establish goals for the upcoming year# <br />together with review of the past year's performance and goal <br />setting. <br />DISCUSSION - Information is presented to allow for the Council <br />review and discussion of this item during March and April. The <br />process this past year allowed for individual discussions of <br />performance by roundImembers with the Administrator if they <br />desired together with their ideas for goal setting and that this <br />be put together prior to the anniversary with evaluations being <br />provided to the Mayor. In addition CounciImembers are invited to <br />discuss the evaluation with the Department Heads. (The <br />Department Heads are requested by the Administrator to <br />individually evaluate him with responses back to him for further <br />discussion.) <br />ALTERNATIVES - <br />Policy <br />Action <br />a. Use the same format. <br />b. Revise format or evaluation or process. <br />a. Adopt as presented. <br />b. Amend and adopt. <br />c. Table.
