As we previously <br />discussed, the step pieces needed protection from erosion by placing additional boulders <br />along the staircase to keep the stairs protected. <br /> <br />Also as we discussed, at the bottom of the hillside where the shed was previously located, <br />there was a retaining wall that had been washed over. The contractor rebuilt that wall and <br />extended it to the stairway because of how steep the hillside was. There was a concern that <br />the hill could potentially slide and jeopardize the stairs.
