addition the Council did consider a platting code revision in <br />1977 but no further action was apparent. (A review of the draft <br />from that time period did not reference Planned Developments). <br />In a phone conversation with Mr. Paurus on November 21. 1988. he <br />thought it was done in conjunction with the development of the <br />comprehensive plan prior to April 1980. His recollection was <br />that they had discussed it but chose not to adopt it. He <br />indicated he would see if he had anything in his files on it. <br />Jeanne Mabusth was a member of the staff at the time and does not <br />recall any PUD discussion during the comprehensive plan. <br />.DISCUSSIOW/ALTERNATIVES - The following represents - an issue by <br />issue breakdown of issues raised by Council at the October 10th <br />meeting together with alternatives to address those issues. <br />^ SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGHWAY 12 - The sole issue raised <br />at the October 10tj^m..tiag^g.rd^ing,t^ a|.oiaW^,y.lre..n^ <br />'section^for highway 12 ^was the" inclusion of a PUD/PRD (if <br />continued) under the list of zoning types that could be used in <br />the area. <br />Alternatives <br />1. Mot Include <br />HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL ZONE -_B6 <br />The principal issue addressed here was the limited listing of <br />uses with the idea that other uses could be brought forward under <br />the amendment to expand the use of Planned Districts from PRD and <br />PID to a PUD.
