Local Share of MVET Transfer Provisions <br />/(-rrAQiWieux ^ <br />The Board of Directors of Minnesota Good Roads adopted a <br />resolution recommending the 1989 Legislature remove the 1991 <br />"sunset” provision included in the 1988 Transportation Funding <br />Bill so that any MVET revenue continue to go to the Highway User <br />Tax Distribution Fund (which includes cities and counties) and <br />not only to trunk highways and transit. <br />Below and on reverse side of this sheet are charts detail­ <br />ing the effective distribution of MVET funds before and after <br />the "sunset” date in the current law. <br />MOTOR VEEICLE EXCISE TAX REVENUES WITH AND WITHOUT LOCAL <br />GOVERNMENT SHARE <br />_ _ _ _(F.
