Proposed 1989 Appointments Resolution <br />0 <br />ISSUE - Adoption of a resolution making the appropriate <br />appointments for 1989. <br />INTRODUCTION - Annaully at the first meeting of the year the <br />Council makes the necessary appointments to the various positions <br />to which it has appointing authority (apart from Planning <br />Commission which by ordinance now start April 1st.) <br />DISCUSSION - The proposals for appointments are the same as last <br />year with the following additions and changes: <br />Park Commission <br />Philip Bradley - term expires 12/3J/91 <br />Lester Kelley - term expires 12/31/91 <br />Alexander Vongries - term expires 12/31/91 <br />Changes <br />Park Commission Chairman ~ Philip Bradley <br />Official Depositories - Miscellaneous changes <br />Building Code Board of Appeals - Addition <br />Hennepin Emergency Communications Organization - Addition <br />ALTERNATIVES - <br />1. Adopt the resolution as proposed. <br />2. Amend and adopt. <br />3. Adopt with certain exclusions for consideration at a later <br />Council meeting. <br />4. Table for futher disucssion. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the Council adopt the <br />resolution as proposed with particular review of the Cable <br />Commission representation and whether the Council desires that to <br />be from the Council or from another source. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by _, that the Council <br />adopt resolution __ appointing persons for 1989 to positions for <br />which it has appointing authority (apart from Planning <br />Commission).
