Oberhauser., Mayor <br />;lerk-Administrator <br />RESOLUTION #395 <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING WARD,PARTEN <br />WHEREAS, the passing of Ward Parten, who so wholeheartedly <br />gave time and energy in service on the Park and Planning Commission, <br />has been a.great loss -to the Village. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of <br />Orono, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. That the residents of the Village, through <br />their duly elected representatives, extend to <br />the family of Ward Parten their deep sympathy. <br />2. That the Clerk -Administrator be hereby directed <br />to send to the family of Ward Parten a copy of <br />this resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption.of the foregoing resolution was duly made <br />by Councilman Searles and seconded by Councilman McCarthy, and upon <br />vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Oberhauser, Councilmen McCarthy and Searles. Councilmen Dorn and <br />Franzel absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted at a <br />regular meeting held May 24, 1971. <br />ouis B. Oberhauser'.
