3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application <br />on January 16, 1990 and recommended denial of an original <br />proposal that would have required an average lakeshore <br />setback variance of 19-20*, increases in hardcover within <br />the 0-75' and 75-250* setback areas, and a side yard setback <br />variance. The Planning Commission recommended that <br />applicant provide an amended proposal following the <br />following guidelines; <br />A) No additional hardcover within the 0-75 ’ zone. <br />croachment of side setback yards. <br />C) No further encroachment of the average setback line <br />than the former deck at a 4' encroachment of that line. <br />D) Hardcover could not be exceeded over what had <br />existed on the property prior to the proposed <br />improvements. July 23 , 1 990 ; and August 13, 1990 <br />and considered several amended proposals.
