that said bids are in all respects in accordance with law and with the <br />published advertisement for bids and with the plans and specifications <br />heretofore approved by the Council and now on file in the offices of <br />the Village Clerk and Engineer; and that the Village Engineer has recommended <br />that said bids be accepted and said bids are hereby -accepted.. <br />2. Minnesota Laws 1969, Chapter 449, Section 5, authorizes the <br />Metropolitan Sewer-Roard, at any time after January 1, 1970, to assume <br />ownership of and require any local government unit to transfer to it, any <br />existing interceptors or treatment works needed to implement the <br />Metropolitan Council's comprehensive plan for the collection, treatment <br />and disposal of sewage in the metropolitan area.
