(Resolution #370, continued) <br />2. The Village Council shall meet -.on November 9, 1970, at <br />7:30 P.M. at the Village Hall, for the purpose of <br />considering sealed bids for the construction of the <br />Improvement, and taking such action thereon as may be <br />deemed most expedient, and such bids shall be received <br />no later than November 6,, 1970, at 11:30 A.M. and <br />may be publicly opened, read, and tabulated at that <br />time by the Village Clerk and Village.engineer for <br />consideration by the Council, and <br />3.: The Village Clerk shall cause to be published once at. <br />least three weeks prior to the opening of said bids, in <br />the official newspaper- of the Village and in the <br />Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids for <br />the construction of the Improvement, as required by law. <br />Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota, at a <br />regular meeting held October 12, 1970. <br />Louis B. 0 er auser, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />alph H. ff4arffn, Cler - dministrator <br />RESOLUTION #371 <br />.A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A POST OFFICE ADDRESS <br />OF ORONQ,,.MINNESOTA <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Orono request,-th•e;Po:st ,Office Department <br />to establish a post office address of Orono, Minnesota located in the <br />Village of Orono. <br />The Village of Orono, with a population of 6,741, has no' post office and <br />is served by seven different post offices at the present time. Post <br />Offices serving Orono include, Wayzata, (pop. 3,600); Long Lake, (pop. <br />1,500); Maple Plain, (pop. 1,150);Excelsior, (pop. 2,300); Mound, <br />(pop.7,400); Navarre, (a part of Orono)' and Crystal Bay, (a part of <br />Orono)'. <br />Adopted by -the Village Council of the.Village of Orono, Minnesota., at a <br />regular meeting held November 91 1970. <br />Louis B.. 0 er auser, Mayor <br />Attest: /' <br />—Ralph Ma tin, Clerk -Administrator <br />
