F, <br />1 <br />t <br />(Resolution #328, continued) <br />adopted at such meeting, insofar as they relate to a <br />sewer and water improvement in the Village; and <br />4. said meeting was duly held, pursuant -to call and notice <br />thereof as required by law. <br />WITNESS my hand and the seal of said Village this <br />23rd day of March, 1970. <br />(SEAL) Ralph H./martin, Cle—YE7-Administrator <br />Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota.at <br />a regular meeting held March 23, 1970. <br />a <br />,'C ,Js J�1 0,10 <br />Attest; //2 d`- <br />Ralp H. artin, Clerk -Administrator <br />RESOLUTION #329' <br />A RESOLUTION REGARDING USE.OF FERTILIZER <br />WHEREAS, Lake Minnetonka is suffering from nutrient pollution caused <br />by the introduction of an excessive amount of nitrogen and phosphorous, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the use of commercial fertilizer on yards and property within <br />the Minnetonka Water Shed.District, and especially on property adjacent <br />to lakeshore, tends to add to the nutrient pollution of Lake Minnetonka, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village <br />of Orono that all citizens within the Lake Minnetonka Water Shed District <br />and the Village of Orono be encouraged to restrict their use of commercial <br />fertilizer for the purpose of lessening -the nutrient pollutibon of Lake_ <br />Minnetonka .and preserving its recreational value. <br />Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota at a <br />regular meeting held April 13, 1970. <br />,- ,ouis B. 0 ex auser, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />Ralph if.
