ORONO COUNCIL Mt-ETING HELD OCTOBER 22, 1990 <br />ZONING FILE #1596-UPHOFF CONTINUED <br />residence and repair timber walls and a stairway at 2:S99 Kelly <br />Avenue. Motion, Ayes-5, Nays-0. Motion passed. <br />#1597 RALPH D. BURGESS, JR. <br />2610 WEST LAFAYETTE ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION #2896 <br />Mr. Mike Peters, Contractor, was present on Mr. Burgess's <br />behalf. <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Peterson, to adopt <br />Resolution #2896, granting lakeshore setback, average lakeshore <br />setback and hardcover Var^nnces for replacement of a deck in <br />kind. Motion, Ayes-5, Nays-0. Motion passed. <br />#1598 IRWIN JACOBS <br />1700 SHORELINE DRIVE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT/VP lANCE <br />RESOLUTION #2897 <br />Mr. Jim Jensen, Jensen Homes, <br />Jacobs. <br />was present on behalf of Mr. <br />3ernhardson reviewed the information presented in Jeanne <br />Mabusth's memo dated October 12, 1990. He added that the <br />Planning Commission had recommended approval of this application. <br />Goetten said, "The Accessory Structure Ordinance does not <br />take into consideration an estate of this size. It applies <br />mainly to the one, two and five acre parcels. There are 30 acres <br />of land in this case. I see no problem approving this <br />application." <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by Peterson, to adopt <br />Resolution #2897, granting a Conditional Use Permit and an <br />oversized accesf ry structure Variance, to construct a guest <br />house at 1700 Shoreline Drive. Motion, Ayes-5, Nays-0. Motion <br />^dssed. <br />CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT: None. <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL REPORT: None. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />LAFAYETTE RIDGE <br />Bernhardson stated that his memo presented information <br />regarding other urban streets that could also be converted, if <br />requests were received to do so (see Mark Bernhardson' s memo <br />dated October 17, 1990). <br />JoEllen Hurr did not believe that there would be any major <br />- 32 - <br />iimilliiiiiiilii...
