The CO. ts and number of customers notified for assessment of the <br />street lights would be substantially less than if all of them <br />were notified and s^jecialiy assessed for a hearing annually. <br />Additionally any particular street light where substantial <br />numbers are not payinn for it, could be disconnected and the <br />charge discontinued. <br />\Ltrr.NATIVES <br />1. Table for further discussion. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that staff be directed to <br />bringljack a proposal which will utilize the utility billing <br />system for charging the street ligh's that are not ones put^in by <br />the City. Together with a policy statement of how these will be <br />handled in the future. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by ^, Council direct <br />staff to develop a system for billing all priTate street lights <br />through the utility billing system.
