. � . <br /> � , ' � <br /> � O� <br /> O O <br /> � C ITY of ORONO <br /> � .-. � <br /> ti <br /> ti <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��`�x'EsH.o�`'�G No. 5 4 g.� <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-350 and 78-1288 <br /> FILE NO. 06-3184 <br /> � WHEREAS, Maureen Reilly Breckman, a single person (hereinafter "the <br /> � applicant") is the owner of the property located at 2695 Casco Point Road within the City of <br /> � � Orono (hereinafter the"City") and legally described as follows: <br /> � � <br /> = — ,� Lot 3, Auditor's Subdivision No. 265 according to the plan on file and of record <br /> � �=` in the Office of the County Recorder, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter <br /> � � the "property"); and <br /> U <br /> � � WHEREAS, the applicant has made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-350 to allow construction of a new <br /> residence on a property 19,572 s.f. in area and 60' in width where 21,780 s.f. in area and 100' of <br /> width are normally required; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1288 to allow 249 s.f. of hardcover within <br /> the 0 -7�' zone where 0 s.f. is normally allowed, and 3,830 s.f. or 36.2% hardcover within the <br /> 75' – 250' zone where 2,645 s.f. or 25% is normally allowed in conjunction with the <br /> construction of a new residence and to allow existing lake yard retaining walls to remain. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File 06-3184. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1C One Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br /> District which requires a minimum lot area of 21,780 s.f. or 0.5 acre and a <br /> minimum lot width of 100 feet. <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
