Burgess, Jr., 2610 West Lafayette Rd - <br />Variance - Resolution <br />List of Exhibits <br />Exhibit A - Notice of Planning Commission Action 10/16/90 <br />Exhibit B - Proposed Resolution <br />Exhibit C -- Memo & Exhibits of 10/11/90 <br />Please review the memo and exhibits of October 11, 1990. <br />Briefly, the applicant wishes to replace in kind a 12'x21' grade- <br />level deck located in the 0-75' protected zone. The deck <br />constitutes 0-75' hardcover and encroaches past the average lake- <br />shore setback line. <br />A miscommunication between the Project Manager, Mike Peters, <br />and one of the subcontractors, resulted in this deck being <br />removed. A Building Inspector advised applicant of the need for <br />a variance before reconstruction could commence. <br />Hardcover in the 75-250' zone will not increase above the <br />pre-existing 33.7% if this deck is replaced. <br />Planning Commission Recommendation - <br />At their October 15th meeting. Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of replacement in kind of the deck. <br />Planning Commission also recommended approval of applicant's <br />request to have a railing around the deck. <br />Staff ReccHmnendation - <br />Staff recommends approval per the Planning Commission <br />recommendation, per the attached resolution.
