Y <br /> ♦ � O� <br /> � o � � <br /> �� z � CITY of ORONO <br /> � � . � <br /> ��, � �� ti <br /> ti <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��`qk'E58�g'�G NO. 5 5 8 � . <br /> A RESOLUTION GR.ANTING ' <br /> A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND VARIANCE <br /> PER MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE SECTION 78-418(3) <br /> � FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br /> 177 GLENDALE DRIVE <br /> � FILE NO. #07-3267 <br /> WHEREAS, Bohland Development, Inc. has filed a zoning application on behalf . <br /> of Calvin Presbyterian Church of Orono (hereinafter the "applicant") for the property located at <br /> 177 Glendale Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the City") and legally described as <br /> follows: <br /> Lot 2, Block 1, Glendale Cove,Hennepin County, Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter"the property"); and <br /> • � <br /> WHEREAS,the applicant has applied to the City for a conditional use permrt per <br /> Orono Zoning Code Section�.78-418(3) to allow construction of a detached storage garage on the <br /> property, and for a variance to said Section to allow the garage to be located 45' from the side , <br /> property line where a 50' setback for all structures is normally required; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on February 20, 2007, at which time all persons desiring to be <br /> heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#07-3267. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-1B Zoning District and the church operates as a <br /> conditional use subject to the standards of Zoning Code Section 78-418(3), which require <br /> a conditional use permit for all new construction and require tha't all structures other than <br /> residences on the property be located at least 50' from any lot line. <br /> • ' <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br />
