Proposed Amended Ordinance <br />ISSUE - Determination by Council as to what action they would <br />desire to take regarding: <br />Park dedication fees from land previously subdivided <br />INTRODUCTION - At the Council’s August 13th Council they referred <br />the issue outlined in Attachment A to the Park Commission. Park <br />Commission at their September 5th Park Commission meeting <br />requested a sub-committee of the members meet to formulate a <br />recommendation. That sub-committee met and presented their <br />recommendation at the October 2nd Park Commission meeting. Park <br />Commission’s recommendation was that the requirement for park <br />dedication from land that had previously been subdivided be <br />deleted from consideration. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Leave the ordinance as it presently stands. <br />2. Take the Park Commission recomnendation and delete that <br />section. <br />3. Table for further discussion. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended in conjunction with the Park <br />Commission that because of the legal and administrative problems <br />related to the provision that portion of the ordinance be <br />deleted. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by _, seconded by _, that the Coun-il <br />amends Ordinance #82, Second Series by the deletion of Section 2 <br />(F) related to the development of land previously platted.
