D. Take no action <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that Council accept the <br />information and table further discussion to the September 10, <br />1990 meeting. In general it is felt that the City's current <br />regulations give the City adequate authority to protect wetlands <br />appropiately yet leaving a flexibility to allow for improvements <br />in those situations. The problems related to these applications <br />is that as long as they meet the development stantards set forth <br />in the ordinance they would be allowed to _• •• r the development. <br />In order to restrict development in these casos u City may need <br />to set up extraordinary setbacks, which woulc seerly limit not <br />only these properties as far a de ve lopab i 1 i ty but would have a <br />substantial negative impact on the deve lopabi 1ity of <br />substantially other properties within the City. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by seconded by that the Council <br />after discussing this information tables this to the September <br />10, 1990 meeting.
