� °� � � <br /> • o � o { <br /> � CITY of ORONO <br /> ,� , , � <br /> , ti � <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> '��l �G~ <br /> `�kEsH.og' rvo. 5 .5 6 9 � <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br /> POST-EMPLOYMENT I3EALTH CARE SAVINGS PLAN <br /> FOR THE POLICE SERGEANT BARGAINING UNIT,AND AMENDING THE POLICE . <br /> SERGEANT LASOR AGREEMENT TO REFLECT THE CHANGE . <br /> WHEREAS, IRS rules allow cities to create Post-Employment Health Care Savings � <br /> Plans (HCSPs) for their employees; and <br /> WHEREAS, an HCSP provides substantial tax savings in relation to the payment of <br /> health care costs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Police Sergeant bargaining unit has agreed on the design of an <br /> HCSP. � <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> 1. That the following Post-Employment Health Care Savings Plan be adopted: <br /> Employee Payroll Contribution <br /> , All employees in the Police Sergeant bargaining unit will contribute 1% of pay <br /> into the post-employment health care savirigs plan. <br /> Sevea-amee Contrib�ataon <br /> All employees in the Police Sergeant bargaining unit will contribute 100% of <br /> severance pay into the post-employment health care savings pla�i. <br /> 2.
