Stat. § 469.107, <br />subd. 2. <br />Law requires specific <br />published notice, public <br />hearing and 2nd published <br />notice. Petition for <br />election must come within <br />30 days of 2nd notice. <br />5% of voters in the <br />last general election. <br />Notice of election must <br />state the purpose and <br />amount of the levy. The <br />election must be held at a <br />general or municipal <br />election. <br />Any two or more cities <br />and towns pass resolution <br />by 2/3 vote of council <br />members to create a <br />hospital district.5 <br />Minn.
