Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323 <br />473-7357 <br />ZONING FILE #2327 <br />NOTICE OF COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE OF NOTICE: March 2. 1998 <br />TO: Tom Dillon <br />Orono Development, LLC <br />5000 Glenwood Av'e, #225 <br />Minneapolis MN 55445 <br />COPIES: Ted Christianson <br />Adam Smith, Co. <br />700 Cedar St, #121 <br />Alexandria MN 56308 <br />TYPE OF APPLICATION: Zoning Amendment <br />DATE OF MEETING: 02/23/98 <br />Motion #1 VOTE: 4 FOR 0 AGAINST <br />To conceptually approve amendment of B-5 district to allow coffee and bagel retail sales as <br />a conditional use; <br />Motion #2 VOTE: 4 FOR 0 AGAINST <br />To table the application to the March 9th meeting, directing staff to draft a zoning code <br />amendment for adoption, containing appropriate CUP standards and conditions. <br />This item will be brought to the Council for consideration on March 9, 1998. The meeting <br />begins at 7:00 p.m. <br />If you desire certified copies of the official Council minutes, they are available from the City <br />Clerk after review and approval by the City Council. <br />State law provides that Cities shall make decisions on zoning requests within 60 days from the <br />date of application, and that this review period may be extended by notification to the <br />applicant. Because review and adoption of the B-5 amendment cannot be completed within <br />the original 60-day time frame due to Council meeting schedules, the review period is het^by <br />extended an additional 60 days to April 22, 1998.
