The porch was built without a permit and <br />requires after-the-fact variances for average lakeshore setback and structural coverage. The <br />application was previously tabled at the March 9, 1998 City Council meeting as the applicant <br />failed to appear. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Planning Commission recommended by a 5 to 0 vote to: <br />1. Deny an average lakeshore setback variance allowing 6.5' encroachment where <br />no encroachment is allowed. <br />2. Deny a structural coverage variance of 1.4% to allow 16.4% structural coverage <br />v. ]'cre 15% is allowed. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />To approve or amend the enclosed denial resolution. <br />i
