Cordes, LS <br />SUBJECT: Relocated Access Driveway — “SUGAR WOODS 2ND “ <br />Orono, Minnesota <br />As a follow-up to our phone conversation today. I have received confirmation <br />from Bill Warden, Mn/DOT Permits Section ( 582-1443 ) that they will approve a <br />new point of access to the Rcbers parcel. The new access vrill be at the <br />intersection of Hwy. 12 and Bnni^l Avenue. A full turning movement access is <br />proposed with MnDOT suggesting a possible right turn lane, adjoining the <br />Rebers parcel, to be constructed along the westbound Hwy. 12 to provide <br />improved traffic movement <br />Mn/DOT will not issue a permit for construction until complete construction <br />plans are reviewed and approved. You should expect a minimum 30 day review <br />and a construction bond will be required before construction is allowed for the <br />new driveway. <br />Relating to the City condition of approval for the relocated driveway, Mr. Warden <br />suggested that Ron Moorse at the City call him to confirm the approval. I have <br />called Mr. Moorse to inform him of the approved access, and that he should call <br />Mr. Warden to confirm the issue. <br />This is the ext; ‘ nf the approvals that we vrill get from Mn/DOT without <br />comr’ete coil ion plans. Mn/DOT will issue a addendum to the plat review <br />letter, outlining tne proposed access driveway requirements to be incorporated <br />into frnal plans. <br />Please advise as to the schedule for completion of the final plat and or the sale of <br />the property.
