_ � o� <br /> � , o ,�� <br /> 0 <br /> _ - ��,_;- CITY of ORONO <br /> � , =� � <br /> l:, � <br /> �� � °� G'�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �`9.t�ESKpg'� NO. 5 5 0 ? <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTIONS 78-305 AND 78-1288 <br /> FILE NO. 06-3223 <br /> WHEREAS, Michael Fey and Stachia Fey, husband and wife (hereinafter <br /> "the applicants") are the owners of the property located at 1570 Long Lake Boulevard <br /> within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as Lot 10 and the <br /> west half of Lot 9, Albee's Long Lake Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter the "property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> • for variances to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-305 to allow construction of a <br /> new house on a lot that is .34 acres and 102 feet wide when two acres and 200 feet of <br /> width is required and with a front setback of 43 feet when 50 feet is required, 22 and 21 <br /> foot side setbacks when 30 feet is required and a 30 foot rear setback when a 50 foot <br /> setback is required. <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> for a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1288 to allow 36.6 percent <br /> hardcover in the 250 to 500 foot hardcover zone when 30 percent is allowed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Cotmcil of <br /> Orono, Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zonin� File 06-3223. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-lA, Zoning District which requires a <br /> �r_?nimum lot are� of two acres and a minimun�. lot width of tw� hundred <br /> feet. <br /> 3. The Plannin� Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing <br /> � held on August 21, and recommended approval of the variances based on <br /> the following findings: <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
